Connect with others who are passionate about compassion and peace.  Observe one of the Ten Days of Peace at Siena Retreat Center on Monday, September 15, with Sammy Rangel.  Sammy’s compelling story makes him a dynamic speaker.  Sammy has a vision for forgiveness , peace, and compassion for Racine and the world.  Sammy Rangel is Second Chance Program Director based at Racine Vocational Ministries. Formerly, he worked as Program Coordinator for the SAFE Streets Outreach Program which assists families in extreme crisis. His autobiography is FOURBEARS: The Myths of Forgiveness.Sammy has a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University-Chicago.  He is a recipient of the Ren Svanoe Youth Leadership Award from the Wisconsin Association for Homeless and Runaway Services.  Sammy teaches locally and nationally on working with high risk populations and on cultural diverdiversity.September 15, 2014, Monday, 7:00-8:00 pmFreewill offering
